Welcome to CrossUpload. By accessing or using this website and its file storage and sharing services, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Service description

CrossUpload is a file storage and sharing platform that lets registered users upload, organize and share content via links. The service is offered primarily free of charge, subject to space and file-size limits published on the site (by default, up to 1024 MB per file and 30720 MB of storage per account, unless other values are shown in the panel or site settings).

Files are stored on CrossUpload servers (our own infrastructure and/or third parties contracted by CrossUpload, including storage servers tied to the service domain and subdomains, such as the files host). By uploading content, you authorize hosting on those servers so we can provide the service.

2. User account

  • You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your password confidential.
  • You are responsible for all activity carried out from your account.
  • Automated, mass or abusive account creation is not allowed.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that breach these terms, without prior notice in serious cases.

3. Content and user responsibility

You are solely responsible for the files you upload, store or share through CrossUpload.

  • You warrant that you have the necessary rights to the content or legal authorization to upload and share it.
  • You must not upload illegal material, malware for malicious purposes, phishing, content that infringes third-party copyright without permission, child sexual abuse material, hate content, or any material prohibited by applicable law.
  • You must not use the service to harass, defraud, spam, or attack third-party systems.
  • CrossUpload does not systematically review all uploaded content. We may remove or block files or accounts upon reports, signs of abuse, or legal requests.

4. Storage, availability and limits

  • Files are kept on CrossUpload servers. We may reorganize infrastructure (including dedicated storage servers) without substantially changing the service.
  • We do not guarantee 100% uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, network or hardware failures may occur.
  • You should keep your own backups of important files. CrossUpload is not liable for data loss except in cases of willful misconduct.
  • Size, quota and file-type limits may change with reasonable notice on the site.

5. Sharing links

If you make a file public or create a share link, anyone with that link may access or download the file. You are responsible for who you share links with. Private files should not be treated as high-security storage for critical secrets.

6. Intellectual property

You retain rights to your content. By using the service you grant us a limited license to host, technically copy and transmit your files solely to operate CrossUpload (storage, download, technical backups, etc.).

The brand, design and software of CrossUpload belong to their owners. You may not copy, resell or unlawfully reverse-engineer them.

7. Acceptable use

Among other things, it is prohibited to:

  • Attempt to breach the security of the site, other users or the infrastructure.
  • Deliberately overload the service (denial-of-service attacks, abusive scraping, etc.).
  • Impersonate others or falsify the origin of files.
  • Resell the service as your own without authorization.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrossUpload is provided “as is”. We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, data loss or harm arising from use or inability to use the service, except for willful misconduct or liability that cannot be excluded by law.

We are not responsible for user-uploaded content or how third parties use the links you generate.

9. Suspension and cancellation

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or cancel access for breaches, abuse, court orders or service shutdown. If the service closes, we will try to give reasonable advance notice when possible.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. The current version will be published on this page with the update date. Continued use after material changes means you accept the new terms.
